Introduction
Our Online BA Business Management provides you with an contemporary in-depth understanding of managing organisations’ and offers you opportunities to develop expertise in a chosen specialist management area. We shall equip you with the knowledge and skills necessary to pursue a career in management, and to encourage and facilitate critical, analytical thinking.
Within British Academy for Business, our teaching methods include a combination of: lectures from our academic staff; guest speaker sessions; tutorials; class exercises, including discussion of case studies and journal articles; computer-based lab sessions; and online resources.
Assessments include a wide range of methods. There are mid-term class tests, individual essays and reports, group reports, individual and group presentations, and written examinations. A combination of assessments is used for all our modules. These assessments test your understanding of theoretical concepts, application in business practice and an ability to analyse and evaluate the same.
I YEAR BA
Year one in Business (QCF) is the ABE International programme in Business (IDB). The IDB program includes a broad introduction to the many different aspects of international business in today’s world. Embarking on the programme you will be exposed to both academic and vocational aspects of a wide range of subjects, enabling you to gain the necessary knowledge and skills vital for a career in business or further studies.
II YEAR BA
Year two in Business (QCF) is the ABE International programme in Business (IADB). The programme builds on the knowledge gained during the NCC Education first year programme in Business by exposing you to greater detail and more advanced topics in a range of areas including economics, marketing, finance and management.
III Year BA
Year three is Online Level 6 programme tailored for each student by the University of Northumbria. This stimulating and rewarding degree-top up programme, which is delivered online teaches you to effectively research, analyse and manage business relationships. It is delivered online, using the state-of-the-art ‘Campus’ learning environment and also gives you the option and academic skills to progress to postgraduate studies.
