Studies in the field of Computer Science provide graduates with an excellent basis to work in the constantly developing and offering attractive employment conditions in the IT sector. This field of study primarily provides general IT education. Individual courses carried out concern such areas as: database systems and computer networks, the most popular operating systems, including the administration of UNIX and Windows Server systems, construction of computer systems and the design and implementation of information systems, programming techniques and methods - in particular design and programming object-oriented. In addition, the graduate obtains the knowledge necessary for every engineer in the field of: mathematics, physics, electronics and metrology, information theory, English language and selected issues of law or project management.

In addition to the implementation of academic subjects, we place great emphasis on the practical aspect of education. The university cooperates with a wide range of companies that participate in the constant adaptation of education programs to the current trends in the IT industry and the related expectations of employers. As part of the cooperation of the State Higher Vocational School Witelon in Legnica with Microsoft as part of the MSDN Academic Alliance program, our students can, for the duration of their studies, use selected Microsoft software for free, including, among others, operating systems and development tools.
