Bachelor of Game Design & Animation

Graduates will be proficient in 3D animation and digital arts; game audio and music composition; experimental game design; interactive narrative and game storytelling; artificial intelligence in games; virtual and augmented reality; critical analysis of games, culture, and technology; and animation. Game programming and software engineering are also an option for the student to learn through our Computer Science department.Game design and animation is the study of the creation of video games and the animation of characters and objects within those games.

It involves the use of software tools and programming languages to design and develop interactive games and animations. Game design and animation education typically involves coursework in computer programming, game development, animation techniques, and graphic design. Students may also have the opportunity to specialize in a particular area of game design and animation, such as character design, level design, or game programming. Game design and animation majors develop skills in creative thinking, problem-solving, and project management, as well as a deep understanding of the technical aspects of game design and animation.
