NNU’s Bachelor of Arts degree in Music develops within students excellence in creating, performing and appreciating music. This multidisciplinary degree focuses on broad music fundamentals with a choice of emphasis in music industry, general music, worship and music ministry, and applied emphasis.
NNU’s Bachelor of Arts degree in Music develops within students excellence in creating, performing and appreciating music. This multidisciplinary degree focuses on broad music fundamentals with a choice of emphasis in music industry, general music, worship and music ministry, and applied emphasis. The Applied Emphasis includes four possible tracks: piano, voice, instrumental, or theory and composition. In addition to engaging coursework, students are required to gain experience through participating in one ensemble each semester.
NNU's music curriculum has been developed to prepare students with the skills needed to create, perform, and appreciate music. The program provides ensembles, lessons, and courses, which are open to all students. The music department also regularly holds concerts and recitals on campus that are open to the public.
