North Central Michigan College
Introduction
A beloved destination for many out-of-towners and home to lucky residents, Petoskey is nestled in the Little Traverse Bay area of Lake Michigan. North Central's main campus steps away from bustling downtown Petoskey. Michigan's upper Lower Peninsula has no shortage of activities for students and residents/visitors—many seasonal festivals, art shows, museums, shopping, and more breathe excitement into the town. Like much of Michigan, Petoskey is renowned for its outdoor beauty, and there are myriad ways to enjoy nature here, including the 26-mile Little Traverse Wheelway (exceptional for walking, biking, and running), world-class boating and fishing, and some of the Midwest's best downhill skiing.
