Industrial Engineering (IE) is a degree program that is aimed towards a disciplined and systematic approach for the design, improvement, implementation, and evaluation of an integrated system of people, material, information, equipment, and energy to achieve maximum efficiency, product quality, and investment return.

For the fulfillment of the aforesaid aim, included in the curriculum are courses on advanced mathematics, physical and social sciences, operations research, production systems, ergonomics, methods, systems study, and finance and computer subjects. Likewise, an Industry Practicum is required to prepare them for an actual IE job better.
