Introduction

International Bachelor Program of Agribusiness (IBPA) is a four-year undergraduate degree program which offers all-English curriculum and emphasizes inter-disciplinary approach of education. The IBPA program provides future agribusiness professionals with theoretical insights and practical training into agribusiness administration and management. It will prepare the students to understand and participate in today’s and future opportunities and development issues of worldwide agriculture. IBPA was established in 2011 and is currently the only one of such kind of all-English international degree programs for undergraduate students in Taiwan’s major, national universities.

IBPA is independent from all other departments and institutes within the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources (CANR). IBPA recruits local Taiwan students, overseas Chinese students, and international students. We welcome both degree-seeking and exchange students. Chinese students from mainland-China (PRC) are also welcome to apply for admission as short-term exchange students.

The program offers courses in a broad range of Agricultural, incorporating the academic areas within the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources (such as Crop and Animal Production, Natural Resources Conservation and Management, Agricultural Economics and Rural Development). Moreover, IBPA emphasis on enterprise and financial management.The final qualified students can obtain a ‘Bachelor of Science’ degree.
