Bachelor of Arts in Television Production
The Television Production Major offers a core education in television creation and production, supplemented by a variety of hands-on courses in the art. As they progress in their studies, students are challenged not only to conceptualize television shows, write scripts and create storyboards but also to plan and execute their production, a process in which they assume the roles of director, producer, camera person, sound engineer and editor. The courses are taught within the context of aesthetics, history, theory and personal expression by a professional faculty that includes specialists in film production and visiting experts in the field.
