The program is excellent preparation for graduate study and an eventual career in the health care field. Students receive the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to successfully pursue graduate study in pre-medical, pre-dental, pre-pharmacy, pre-physical therapy, pre-optometry, pre-veterinary, pre-chiropractic, or pre-physician assistant programs.Health Sciences is a field of study that focuses on the study of health and wellness, including the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases and disorders.

It involves the examination of biological, behavioral, and social factors that affect health, as well as the development of strategies to promote health and prevent disease. The curriculum for a Health Sciences degree typically includes courses in anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, epidemiology, health promotion, and healthcare ethics. Students may also have the opportunity to take courses in specialized areas such as public health, health informatics, or health policy.
