Biology is a hands-on major at Minot State. Whether in the classroom, research lab, or the field, Minot State’s biology program encourages you to engage in your learning and explore your own interests. Our biology faculty members are highly-qualified instructors and active researchers eager to help you meet your individual career goals and engage in cutting-edge research. Funded by more than $2.5 million in grants, the research studies of biology faculty members have been published in more than 60 peer-reviewed scientific publications and cited in hundreds of others. In our program, you will find research opportunities not available at large universities, and undergraduate research will uniquely prepare you to be admitted to graduate and professional programs.
