Spatial Design
You learn how to design living spaces, public spaces, practices and offices so that people feel comfortable in them. The targeted use of light, color, shapes and materials plays an important role.
3D Scenography and Installations
This is where interior design and technology meet: You will learn what makes up a holistic spatial concept and how you can make your visions come alive for your customers – for example, through plastic models from the 3D printer.
Spatial Visualisation
This module is about the visual representation of your ideas. With the help of 3D models, rendering and animations, you create detailed plans. Special software is used for this.

Career Opportunities
Once you have your bachelor’s degree in interior design in your pocket, a promising career in residential interior design, store design or trade show construction awaits you. Typical employers are architecture and engineering firms, trade fair constructors and furniture stores. But you can also start your own business.
Interior Designer
You design rooms according to your customer's wishes as a freelance or salaried employee. For example, you create a colour and lighting concept and select suitable furniture, wallpaper and curtains. Sometimes you even take a hammer or paintbrush into your own hands.
Exhibition Designer
As a creative exhibition designer, you create spatial productions that tell stories and inspire visitors. The results of your work will be shown, for example, at trade fairs, congresses or other events, but also in museums.
Set Designer
For film and television production companies, you create sketches, models and floor plans for the set. Together with directors and craftsmen, you put your ideas into practice. In this way, you will create unique sets in which the actors and actresses will perform.
