Introduction
This programme will fully equip students with the theoretical knowledge, teaching pedagogies, practical skills and holistic understanding of young children’s development, learning needs and growth. The programme covers various ECE specialities such as: child development, creativity through music, movement, art and drama, teaching mathematics and sciences to young children, language and literacy, health, safety and nutrition, infant and toddler care and teaching social studies to young children.

Upon completion of this programme, MCKL graduates will be offered other pathways to earn a globally recognised degree either in Ireland or U.K. with just an additional one of year study abroad to support their career goals. Graduates may also seek employment in the ECE field as a qualified practitioner.
