Introduction
As a speech language therapist youll facilitate independence in individuals. Youll assess children, young people and adults with a variety of communication and swallowing disorders and work with them to improve their ability to participate in school, work and other daily activities. You may work with children who have speech and or language disorders, or adults living with a traumatic brain injury or stroke.
This is a selected entry qualification. This means there are a number of extra requirements you must meet.
To enter the Bachelor of Speech and Language Therapy with Honours you will be selected into the qualification based on a selection process that will include:
- a written application
- criminal record check
- interview
- referee checks.
