Introduction
The programme in Economics and Business is designed to offer a comprehensive education in the key areas of economics, management and finance, from an international perspective. It is aimed at individuals who seek to understand and manage the complexities of the global economic and financial landscape and provides the tools to navigate and positively influence global and financial landscapes. Through a multidisciplinary approach, the programme combines the study of economic theory with innovative business practices, equipping students to make informed and strategic decisions in an international context. Additionally, it offers the opportunity to engage with real case studies, participate in market simulations, and develop projects focused on solving concrete problems. Students will gain a deep understanding of economic dynamics and acquire practical managerial skills essential for leadership roles.

Scholarships and Funding
Luiss University aims to inspire meaningful change in society by investing in inclusion, social mobility, and collective leadership by going beyond conventions, roles, and goals to transform boundaries into horizons. Welcoming international students is one of our most important values, which is why Luiss University is making forty-five scholarships available for the 2024/2025 academic year, giving priority to:
- Students from the Euro-Mediterranean area, particularly the Balkans.
- Students from East Asia, such as China and Vietnam, give priority to deserving students who pass the Gaokao exam.
- Students from the Middle East and North Africa.
- Students selected under international agreements or programs (IEC, Diasporas, etc.).
- Students holding a diploma issued by the European Schools.
- Students participating in orientation workshops and special formats.
Students admitted as part of the international selection process for enrollment in a bachelor's, single-cycle master’s, or master's degree programme in the 2024/2025 academic year will be automatically evaluated to award the scholarships. Therefore, there is no requirement to fill out additional forms beyond the one required by the University for admission.
SAT/ACT Scholarships - 2024/2025 Academic Year
As part of its initiative to value excellent students, Luiss University is offering twelve scholarships earmarked for students with SAT or ACT certification who have applied for direct admission to the first year of a bachelor’s degree or single-cycle master’s degree programme in the 2024/2025 academic year.
The scholarships consist of a 50% partial waiver of the University’s annual tuition fee and can be renewed for the entire standard duration of the degree programme.
GMAT/GRE Scholarships - 2024/2025 Academic Year
As part of its initiative to value excellent students, Luiss University is offering eight scholarships to students who have applied for direct admission for the first year of a master's degree programme in the 2023-2024 academic with a currently valid GMAT or GRE certificate.
The eight scholarships, consisting of a full waiver or partial waiver of the University’s annual tuition fee, will be awarded with priority to students who submit GMAT certification with a score equal to or greater than 710 or equivalent GRE score converted based on the annexed table.

The programme enables graduates to work for economic and financial institutions, business and economics consultancies and government and non-profit organizations. The graduates will be able to successfully apply for the following job positions:
