Introduction
The Division of History and Political Science emphasizes the understanding of the past and politics through a Christian context and prepares students with the skills they will need to navigate the complex world of the 21st century. Our degree programs help students develop marketable skills such as the ability to research and gather data, analyze and draw conclusions from that data, and communicate their knowledge clearly and effectively in written and oral forms. While teaching and the legal profession are two of the most common career choices, other job possibilities include Manager of government agencies, Politician, Political lobbyist or advisor, Healthcare Management, Museum Director, Archivist, Librarian, Federal agent, National Parks Service, Entrepreneur, Writer or journalist, Documentary Filmmaker, Professional Consultant.
