Introduction
Our acclaimed Fine Art Program provides a fusion of French, Italian, and Russian academic traditions. The program also combines a solid, substantial foundation of technical skills, critical thinking, and communication skills essential for success in today’s complex art world. During your time at LAAFA, you will build strong technical abilities by studying with our experienced and dedicated instructors and excel exponentially through our sequential curriculum. The goal is to give our emerging artists the confidence to develop their visual language and voice to pursue a lasting career as successful, thought-provoking, professional artists.
Our experienced instructors who are current, working artists can connect you with career opportunities after graduation. The blend of French, Italian, and Russian academic traditions of art provides an essential, well-rounded art education.
The program begins with 18 months of rigorous training in drawing, composition, painting, sculpting, and anatomy to ensure students have the foundational skill set to pursue their artistic expression. Our instructors will work with students to foster their artistic understanding and abilities, helping them master more advanced fine art concepts, skills and nurture their unique voice. LAAFA aims to prepare all students to alter the landscape of artistic expression in today’s contemporary art world.
