Kalmar
In Kalmar, Linnaeus University is located in the city center. Universitetskajen is entirely newly built and located just next to the sea. Here you become part of a creative knowledge environment.
The city center is also where most students live. Everything is available within a ten-minute bicycle ride, regardless of whether you want to take a swim in the sea, study, do some shopping, or work out. Historical buildings and cobblestone streets give charm to the city. When it is sunny, the area next to Kalmar Castle’s moat is filled with studying and sunbathing students. Student life is a natural part of Kalmar. This is where your dream of the future begins!
Career Opportunities
The program prepares you for work in small as well as large international companies. A potential future job can be to lead a company’s international venture as a marketing or sales manager, import/export manager, product manager, or entrepreneur. Other potential future titles are business developer, project manager, export sales officer, purchaser, key account manager, head financial officer, and marketing director.
International opportunities
The language of tuition is English. In this way, you will become prepared not only for a national career but also for a career in an international context. Further opportunities for internationalization are offered through a semester abroad at one of our many partner universities across the world. As a student in the international business program, you also have the opportunity to study your final year at Berner Fachhochschule in Switzerland, or you can choose to study your final semester and an extra semester at ISM Vilnius in Lithuania to get a “double degree” – an extra degree in addition to the one you obtain from the international business program.
