Introduction
The Interdisciplinary Studies major is grounded in flexibility and customization, which allows students to choose emphases that provide a cohesive thematic framework to their studies and broad professional pathways upon graduation. One of the emphases is Emergent Digital Practices, which serve students interested in multiple nascent technologies, their artistic expression, and human application. The emphasis draws knowledge from various programs, such as Art and Design, Gaming, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, English, and Philosophy and Religion. The skills developed in the Emergent Digital Practices emphasize expanding students’ knowledge of the intersection of arts and technology, increasing their creativity, and ensuring a broad career pathway in several relevant fields, such as game and product design, software and human interfacing, among others.

Students must complete their choice of two of the four concentrations, and at least 3 credit hours must be at the 30000-level in each concentration:
