The BS in Fashion Business and Entrepreneurship from Lindenwood University provides a diverse and thorough education to students who are interested in making their career in the fashion industry.
You'll not only learn how to bring the latest styles and trends to the runway. You'll also learn how to manage a successful business built in the fashion industry with the managerial and economic skills to thrive as an entrepreneur.
The Fashion Business and Entrepreneurship (BS) is offered in both traditional and online formats.
When you study fashion business and entrepreneurship, you'll not only learn how to bring the latest styles and trends to the runway, but you'll also learn how to manage a successful business built in the fashion industry with the managerial and economic skills to thrive as an entrepreneur. When you study fashion and the fashion business, you will learn many facets of the industry. These include the principles of financial accounting, macroeconomics, finance, and management as well as business law, global business and society, advertising and promotional strategy, statistics, pricing strategy and negotiation, computer-aided design, and history of the fashion industry as well as other courses in on online-hybrid setting.
Required Equipment
This program has immersive reality technologies integrated throughout the curriculum and requires use of a virtual reality headset identified by the department and associated applications. Immersive realities, such as virtual reality, provide a fully immersive educational experience that leads to greater engagement and understanding of subjects covered in classes. Students are not only able to engage with the material, other students, and their instructor; they also can better understand the context of those relationships while immersed in the virtual environment. These experiences support the learning outcomes for the program and prepare students for use of these technologies in their professions.
