Introduction
The graduate student in Psychology Honors (UCM program, MQF 6, 180 ECTS) will be able to ground his specific skills in other fields of knowledge, as required by the current highly complex systems, with particular reference to the rehabilitation area, the economy , of the social.
The Bachelor of Science in UCM Psychology aims to transmit advanced knowledge on psychology as a scientific subject, placing it in the human sciences. It lays the foundations for a dialogue with the related disciplines, such as philosophy, sociology, anthropology, medicine, neuroscience, providing insights for further reflection. Analyzes the experimental method in psychology, the history of the discipline, the main theories and applications. Students thus prepare themselves for an increasingly more organic and specific acquisition of knowledge, with solid interdisciplinary foundations.

The Ludes method
During the course the student will also acquire, in reference to the European Certificate (EuroPsy), six basic skills: theoretical, methodological, diagnostic, communicative, intervention and organizational.
Great emphasis will be given to the dialogue between different currents (psychoanalytic, behavioral, cognitive, humanistic, systemic).
Thus the student defines a precise method of approach to the discipline, understanding how relational, emotional and cognitive aspects interact with each other. Through clinical cases, laboratories and supervision, the student experiments, acquires and implements new interactive methods resulting from an adequate conceptual interiorization, also on the level of experiences. Critically thinks about the concepts learned, distinguishes normal development from dysfunctional aspects of the mind, adequately applies problem solving to mental dynamics, in the sign of a solid ethical-anthropological vision of reference. It is also prepared theoretically and practically to the conscious choice of the future directions of study that it will undertake.
The graduate student in UCM Psychology will be able to ground his / her specific skills in other fields of knowledge, as required by the current highly complex systems, with particular reference to the area of rehabilitation, economics and social issues.
Peculiarities of the course is also the direct relationship with the teacher, in small-scale classes, to facilitate the constant monitoring of learning; students will also have the opportunity to use the research results produced by the "Paolo Sotgiu" Institute, which boasts names of absolute international prestige, from the Nobel Prize winner Kary Mullis to the quantum physicist, Jack Tuszynski, to the neurobiologist, Gustav Bernroider, to psychiatrist Mark Rasenick.
