Introduction

The professional activities of the graduate in the direction of "The Art of Costume and Textile" of the department are the creation of a costume-object of creative activity of an artist-stylist, the ability to solve issues of artistic design of textile and light industry products, good orientation in matters of fashion and style, composition, marketing research in the fashion industry, the use of innovative and traditional methods of artistic design for implementation in mass production and the field of PR.

Key competencies:

the ability to develop artistic projects of products, taking into account stylistic, design and technological, economic parameters and to creative self-expression when creating original products;

· Possession of the basic principles, methods, and techniques of full-scale drawing, spatial thinking, the constructive basis and plastic structure of objects of the environment and a person based on the drawing, as well as the technique of drawing from nature and memory/representation from various drawing materials;

Possession of knowledge of color science for mastering subsequent disciplines and in further professional activity, knows about the basic properties of colors, optical properties of paints, about the specificity of color perception, about the emotional, physiological effects of colors on a person, and also knows how to create harmonious combinations of colors;

· The ability to systematically study and analyze research information, domestic and foreign experience in the relevant training profile, as well as participate in the work on the implementation of the results of creative research, development, and innovative projects;

· The ability to design and implement an experimental model, as well as its study.

· The ability to develop new models of products for various purposes and assortment, monitor the process of their manufacture in production conditions following the author's samples, draw up the necessary technical documentation, and use regulatory and legal documents in their activities.
