Introduction
The Computer Science (CS) course at KUE is the result of the search for an engaging and effective combination of knowledge and skills useful in the society and economy of the 21st century. CS is a combination of IT knowledge with specialized domain knowledge. Students learn the structure and principles of operation of computer systems, programming, databases, operating systems, computer networks and the design of information systems. They also gain knowledge in the fields of management, entrepreneurship and law. Thanks to this, they have a good understanding of the reality of the economy, which is important when designing and implementing IT systems supporting business activities, as well as when developing software for advanced computer applications. As a result of the above assumptions, the course has the value of interdisciplinarity, which should be an additional advantage for graduates applying for jobs in various types of organizations and enterprises.
