Activities of teaching and learning
Innovative teaching and learning methods are applied, and the study process is virtualized. Student-oriented self-study is based on tasks and group activities that encourage problematic and critical thinking. An educational environment is created to enable students to self-control their study process, reflect on their activities and encourage creativity and innovation. The program strives for students’ active participation in the study process. During lectures, attempts are made to create an environment for discussions; and a dialogue between the teacher and the student is encouraged.
Methods of assessment of learning achievements
A ten-score cumulative assessment system for assessing knowledge and skills is used. During a semester, learning outcomes are assessed during interim accountings (translations, tests, individual and group tasks and their presentations, projects, presentations of practical and self-study tasks, etc.). The final score consists of interim and examination evaluation scores.
