Introduction
The ISM Bachelor in Finance & Management offers you a wealth of information in the field of business and economics fundamentals on one hand, and financial management, on the other. Whether you are interested in financial planning, business taxation, or corporate finance- the undergraduate program Bachelor of Financecombines classic management and economics principles of business administration studies with extensive knowledge of the management of the financial sector.
The Bachelor of Finance teaches you about the core subjects of the finance world: among others, you will get to know principles of finance, accounting, financial products, and how companies operate on global capital and financial markets. With the Bachelor of Finance program, you will also acquire know-how in finance topics such as corporate finance, financial management, and reporting. During the last two semesters, you will additionally gain more in-depth knowledge of subjects such as mergers and acquisitions or international financial reporting.
If you decide to pursue a financial management degree at ISM, your will also enjoy compulsory internships in Germany and abroad, interesting hands-on consulting projects, workshops and permanent contact with experienced lecturers from the financial management and business world.

Due to their business model, banks, financial institutions, and insurance companies offer many typical finance-related services.
Finance know-how is also one of the key qualifications for a career in management. By linking management, business administration, controlling, and accounting with finance in your degree program, you will be able to score points with hiring managers after graduation.
After completing a B.Sc. Finance degree, if you want to go for higher studies, you can also pursue a Master of Finance or even an MBA degree.

With a second, optional overseas semester in the seventh semester, the „Global Track“ Option offers you the opportunity to spend another semester abroad. This will enable you to expand your specialist knowledge and further develop your linguistic and intercultural skills.

Performing the analysis of complex business models and processes, getting to know financial products better, or recognising interrelationships of markets - pursuing financial management studies at ISM will supply you with the necessary knowledge to become a sought-after financial specialist in national as well as international companies.
The course promises you a business management basis with individual orientation, lectures in the areas of management basics (business studies, economics), soft skills (personal and social competencies), foreign languages as well as industry-specific focus. For example, lectures are offered in the areas of financial management, corporate structuring, or international financial reporting.

Studying Finance & Management means not only acquiring business knowledge but also understanding the structures of the global financial markets.
In order to prepare you for a career in international financial management, the Bachelor of Finance comprises:
- intensive language training in German, French, or Spanish,
- an integrated semester abroad at one of our over 190 partner universities, and
- an optional second semester abroad.
Studying finance at ISM also means taking part in many practical projects and benefitting from a continuous direct exchange with the business world. Thus, you will gain insights into many companies, develop your problem-solving skills, and can immerse yourself in different fields of work during your studies with an internship in Germany or abroad.
