Introduction
General objectives defined for the study cycle:
This undergraduate study cycle in Management, to be taught preferably in English Language, aims to train professionals who intend to develop an international career, aspire to create their own business or work in companies of national or international reference.
Graduates will obtain a fundamental understanding of the main areas of business and will acquire vital skills in the analysis and creation of sustainable companies, through an interdisciplinary teaching-learning experience that integrates the most innovative concepts and techniques applicable to the different functional areas of the company.
The graduate will know how to identify and anticipate environmental opportunities and threats, allocate resources, organise information based on new digital technologies, manage and motivate people, take decisions under conditions of uncertainty, achieve the defined objectives efficiently and effectively, evaluate the results achieved and create sustainable value.
Learning objectives (knowledge, skills and competences) to be developed by students:
Understand the fundamentals of business, demonstrating knowledge and understanding of modern and innovative management concepts and tools;
Integrate the functional knowledge of business in a teamwork context, revealing:
- Ability to contribute to the development of plans, which integrate the functional knowledge acquired.
- Ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse team.
Demonstrate knowledge of information technology and communication skills, showing:
- Ability to research, interpret and evaluate data.
- Ability to present information in an organized manner.
Develop socially responsible solutions to problems, evidencing:
- Ability to analyse the global socio-economic and political-legal environments in solving business problems.
- Understanding business problems and potential solutions.
- Ability to consider the ethical implications involved in business decisions.

Future management professions identified by international consulting firms include the following: E-commerce Specialist, Marketing Management Specialist, Customer Experience Specialist, Innovation Manager, Talent Manager, Financial Manager, Inheritance Financial Manager, among others.
