Introduction

The 5-year Aeronautical Engineering Program is a full-time program starting in September and taking place in the Parisian Campus (Ivry-sur-Seine). It is open to international candidates who have accomplished or are accomplishing a high school with a scientific option (Math, Physics).

The program is delivered in English and it is organized according to the French system.

Upon completion of the 5-year program, the student is rewarded with the "diplôme d'ingénieur", equivalent to the Master’s Engineering Degree recognized internationally. All 5 years are mandatory in order to obtain the degree.

Program Outline

The5-year program is a 2+3, which means that it includes:

  • 2 years of fundamentals (classe préparatoire) with in-depth studies of Basics Sciences,EngineeringSciences and a touch of Aeronautics
    • Mathematics, Physics, Flight mechanics, Electronics, Algorithms etc.
  • 3 years of AeronauticalEngineeringcourses and specializations
    • in the 4thyear the student will choose 1 major between Vehicles Major andSignals&Systems Major and different options

Learning Approach

The program is based on a balance between academic and practical activities: lectures, tutorials, seminars, design consultancy, projects related to industrial environments, and internships.

The first 2 years involve many hours of study. Beginning with the 3rdand especially the 4thyear, the student is the main actor in their training by choosing a major and different option allowing them to personalize their courses and obtain expertise in a field of their choice.

Business conferences and international openness provide additional skills in building student’s critical thinking and ability to make decisions.

Internships

The program includes 3 mandatory internships:

  • a 4-week internship at the end of the 2ndyear
  • a 8-week internship at the end of the 4thyear
  • a 6-month internship during the 5thyear (the second semester)

  • Statement of purpose
  • Proof of payment of 110€ for the application expense, by Flywire, our preferred payment partner.

Application deadline: 31st of May.

The admission procedure is the following:

  1. Your application is evaluated by an admission committee
  2. If your application is eligible, you will receive a notification for an online interview
  3. You receive the result of your application in one up to 3 days after the online interview
