Bachelor of Economics in Economics

湖北大学been enrolled separately since 2006. The teaching covers both undergraduate and graduate students. There is an undergraduate major in economics and two second-level disciplines of political economy and western economics for doctoral and master's degrees. The enrollment rate of past graduates is about 30%. Undergraduate graduates enter Peking University, Fudan University, Nankai University, Sun Yat-sen University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Central University of Finance and Economics, etc. With advanced studies in economics, the number and quality of admissions ranks first among all majors in the business school.

The undergraduate major of economics trains professionals who are familiar with modern western economic theories, understand the economic phenomena of modern society, have the ability to use quantitative analysis methods to conduct socio-economic investigation and analysis, have strong written and oral expression skills, and are proficient in a foreign language. The professional theoretical knowledge, modern economic analysis methods, and rational thinking ability possessed by the graduates of this major will enable them to engage in more theoretical research work in economic theory and policy in the policy research department and the comprehensive economic management department.
