Introduction
Are you interested in gaming and what role gamification plays in companies? Would you like to take a creative course of study and at the same time acquire key management skills in order to position yourself more broadly in the economy? The Game Design course at the Hochschule Fresenius teaches you artistic skills and knowledge of gamification and game design as well as sound business know-how. You learn to develop game worlds and game characters. You deal with successful corporate strategies and acquire the most important methods of good team management. The interdisciplinary course enables you to (co) shape the entire game development process from the idea to a game to production and marketing.

The practice-oriented combination of game design and management optimally prepares you to take on creative and project management functions in the areas of game and gamification - two central fields of activity of the future. Focus
You can deepen your skills in game design and game development in the game design course by choosing a focus. Decide individually on one of the following areas of specialization in the Game Design course based on your interests:
Game-based and interactive game systems
Select the focus on game-based and interactive game systems and deal intensively with a concept for a game. After you have developed a design for the game, you also implement it on your own.
Moving image and narration
With a focus on moving images and narration, you will conceptualize and design a video or a short film, which you will also produce or implement yourself.
3D object and space design
As part of the focus on 3D object and room design, you will develop your own concept and draft for a 3D object or room. You also implement this yourself and produce it.
