Introduction

The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering offers a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) degree program. Students in our program receive high quality instruction in each of the 5 sub-disciplines in civil engineering: environmental, geotechnical, structural, transportation, and water resources engineering. Our students are exposed to hands-on opportunities to put their knowledge to work by participating in laboratory courses, internships, and research projects. Our graduates are poised to enter graduate programs and careers in industry and consulting. The department has adopted the student outcomes established by ABET. Achieving these outcomes establishes the foundation for achieving the program educational objectives.
