Summary

The Renewable Energies course offers you a varied degree that prepares you for the diverse fields of activity in the growth sector of renewable energy generation. It lets you actively participate in the energy revolution. The course comprises six consecutive semesters and is completed in the 7th semester with the practical phase in a company and the subsequent bachelor thesis. From the 4th semester you can choose one of the two specializations: electrical energy systems or thermal energy systems.

Because not everything is just a question of technology, personal development and the teaching of basic social, economic, ergonomic and legal skills are also important to us. With the successful completion of your studies, you will be awarded the academic degree "Bachelor of Science". After that, nothing stands in the way of your career in the field of regenerative and conventional energy technology! Would you prefer to continue researching? No problem! Alternatively, you can successfully continue your studies in a national or international master’s degree.

goals and career prospects

The 7-semester bachelor's degree in regenerative energies prepares you for a wide range of fields of activity in the growth sector of renewable energy generation and use. To do this, you will deal with the scientific and technical aspects of this future technology in an interdisciplinary manner, taking into account economic and ecological issues. Specialized professional training in two areas of specialization and the special practical relevance enable you to act independently. You will quickly familiarize yourself with the wide range of regenerative energy technologies and systems and their integration into energy supply networks. You will also open up new areas of the energy transition. As a graduate, you can react flexibly to the constantly evolving requirements in practice and enter the rapidly growing market of future energies directly.

Program structure

The study of renewable energies is as varied as this future technology is exciting! During your studies, you will work out the broad spectrum of renewable energy technologies and systems and their integration into energy supply networks in a goal-oriented manner. In project work and the practical phase, you will then immediately put the knowledge you have learned into practice. This means that you are well prepared to react flexibly to the constantly changing requirements of the professional world.
