Introduction
The Bachelor of Science degree with an Engineering-Mechatronics track major is awarded to students who complete a broad distribution of courses in the humanities, natural sciences, and social sciences as well as engineering courses. The program prepares graduates for careers as mechatronics engineers working in both product and process-related, roles in industry. In addition graduates will also be well suited to pursue research work at the graduate level.
A Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Engineering with a Mechatronics track is an interdisciplinary program that focuses on the integration of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, and control systems to design and develop smart and automated systems. Mechatronics is a field that combines elements of mechanical engineering, electronics, and software engineering to create intelligent and autonomous machines and systems.
