Internal security

Internal Security, specialization: Intelligence and Counterintelligence. First-cycle studies last 6 semesters and end with obtaining a bachelor's degree. The specialization prepares graduates to work in State Security Institutions, especially secret services, the police, institutions dealing with internal and external security of the state, including analytical centers.

After completing the education cycle, a graduate of first-cycle studies:

• knows and understands the role and importance of intelligence and counterintelligence in the security system of selected countries, also in the historical aspect,
• has the ability to assess the occurring socio-political and political-military phenomena also in the context of threats that they may bring,
• knows the legal basis as well as the principles and rules of secret services, intelligence and counterintelligence in their activities,
• can explain the mechanisms of task, management, accountability and supervision of secret services in democratic countries.
