HAN strives to be one of the top universities of applied sciences in the Netherlands. With campuses in both Arnhem and Nijmegen, in the east of the Netherlands, HAN has over 35,000 students.

Domains
HAN University of Applied Sciences offers education in the following domains: education, social studies, commerce, communication, business administration, law, economics, engineering, built environment, applied sciences, IT and communication, health, nursing, and sports and exercise. Students can choose from a total of 65 Bachelors and exchange courses and 21 Masters courses.

At HAN theory and practice go hand in hand, giving students not only the theoretical knowledge but also the skills and experience to deal with real issues in practice. The strength of our curriculum is the combination of practice-oriented components with applied research, a feature that is incorporated into all the programs. We train students to become self-confident, empowered individuals who look beyond borders and are equipped to innovate their profession. This requires an interdisciplinary perspective that stimulates learning and innovation. We aim for maximum personal impact and social innovation. And offer a springboard to a meaningful future.
