Introduction

The Bachelor in cybersecurity from ESIEA is a brand new Bac + 3 diploma which aims to consolidate the cybersecurity sector, a recognized area of ​​expertise of ESIEA, as evidenced by its SecNumEdu label from ANSSI (National Security Agency Information Systems) for several of its training courses, a real guarantee of excellence in this field.

It is based on theoretical training and learning by doing, in particular through practical work and projects.

A scientific and technical project to be carried out in a group will occur each semester, aiming to mobilize their learning.

A one-month internship in the 1st year and two months will prepare the student for a complete immersion during the 3rd year, which will take place entirely in apprenticeship.

Presentation:

For 62 years, the ESIEA has been training young people in digital careers, and about thirty years ago, the school began to develop its cybersecurity curriculum. She thus enjoys real recognition for her engineering training, both in the IT world and in the world of cybersecurity.

Today, cybersecurity has become a very dynamic industry, with businesses seeking to protect themselves from cyber-attacks. These wish to recruit managers and experts in IT security. In 2019, the ESIEA was asked to train young people on a level 6 diploma (bac + 3). This is the context in which the Bachelor in Cybersecurity fits.

The content of the training consists of four pillars:

a scientific base: mathematics, physics, signal processing, and cryptography;

a technological base focused on information systems: IT development, systems, networks, and databases;

all the technical fundamentals of cybersecurity: encryption, system security, testing and auditing, defensive security, reverse engineering, cyber defence, and design of security architectures;

personal development: written and oral communication, English, acculturation & international, collaborative work, creativity and innovation, and project management.
