Introduction
The Bachelor of Applied Science in Supply Chain Management and Logistics program is designed to prepare students for supply chain management, logistics, and related fields. Students who have earned an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree will have the opportunity to continue their education and prepare for advancement opportunities within their business field of study. The curriculum includes courses that will provide a solid understanding of supply chain management and logistics for today's global business and industry environment. The program is designed to aid and develop the potential of GMC graduates to be successful in the field of supply chain management and logistics. Students enrolling in this degree program must have a business, CIS, supply chain, or logistics related AAS degree.
Fundamental supply chain management and logistics skills in inventory management, materials management, warehouse management, transportation, distribution, and purchasing needed for today's global work environment. Critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to develop and manage business problems encountered within the global supply chain and logistics environment. Incorporation of supply chain management and logistics performance goals to support the strategic initiatives and financial objectives of business operations.
