Introduction
The Bachelor of Applied Science in Supervision and Management (BAS) degree program is designed to prepare students for supervisory and management roles and positions within various businesses and industries. Students who have earned an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree or an Associate of Applied Technology (AAT) degree will have the opportunity to continue their education and prepare for advancement opportunities within their technical field. The curriculum includes courses that will provide a solid understanding of supervision and management practices that will aid and develop our graduates' potential to be successful in their business environment. General education course credits and technical/occupational course credits from an AAS or AAT degree can be transferred (upon review) towards GMC’s BAS degree requirements. Students enrolling in this degree program must have a technical/occupational (non-business/management) AAS or AAT degree.
The BAS in Supervision and Management provides students the skills to effectively lead and manage business operations or start a business within their technical field. Graduates will be prepared to seek career opportunities in supervision and middle-management within their respective technical fields.
