Introduction
Forward College is a Higher Education Institution designed for bright undergraduate students who wish to go beyond academic excellence. BSc in Psychology
Psychology is the driving science behind most digital applications and generates a growing interest from recruiters. Designed by King’s College, this degree will provide you with a contemporary approach to the study of the human mind. You will gain a thorough understanding of human behaviour and learn to apply psychological science to a variety of contemporary and social challenges. There is an emphasis on quantitative and qualitative research methods and statistical analysis with content enriched by the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience. With academic direction from King's College, you will:
- Demonstrate a sound understanding of all the main areas of psychology;
- Demonstrate the ability to exercise critical judgement in the evaluation of research in the field;
- Apply a critical understanding of essential concepts, principles and research in psychology, and critically evaluate the results, in the context of loosely defined scenarios, using structured arguments based in empirical evidence;
- Demonstrate the ability to produce a substantial piece of original or empirical research work including, for example, study design, data collection, analysis and reporting.

Program delivery
Forward College operates as a Recognised Teaching Center of the University of London (UoL), of which LSE and KCL are members. Our teaching is academically directed either by King’s College London (for the BSc in Psychology) or by the London School of Economics (for the other six BSc programmes). For Forward students, this means they:
- are also registered at the UoL during their studies at Forward College (at no additional cost),
- have full access to the learning materials developed by LSE or KCL through the UoL Virtual Learning Environment,
- are taught and tutored in small groups on our campuses by Forward professors who use the material from LSE or KCL, complemented by their own teaching,
- take annual exams graded by academics from LSE or KCL,
- receive their Bachelor’s degree from the UoL “under the academic direction” of LSE or KCL.
