If you plan to become a teacher, special educator, therapist or clinician, you will find that the College of Education and Allied Health Professions offers a comprehensive, interdisciplinary approach to education in an engaging, challenging and supportive learning environment. Faculty and students work together collaboratively—a critical skill for effective practice—and students have access to critical clinical and educational practicum opportunities.

Our Deaf Education department, established in 1963, has a long tradition of offering leading-edge technology and learning resources, combining science with the art of teaching to ensure you are well prepared before you enter the classroom.

Degree and minor programs offered through the College emphasize a mix of science, research and technology complemented by practicum work to provide a well-rounded education that’s personalized to your needs. The Center for Teacher and Therapist Training and The Eardly Family Clinic for Speech, Language and Hearing extend our ability to reach and serve the community while providing practical experience for our students.
