Introduction
Our Sport and Recreation Management undergraduate curriculum offers professional preparation programs designed to prepare students for employment in sport, parks, and recreation management delivery systems. Whether you wish to serve as a park director, intramural sports and special-event coordinator, public relations specialist, media coordinator, sports marketing executive, athletic director, or several other possible professions, the paths are endless for the aspiring sport and recreation management major.
The Sport Management track is designed for students with a strong interest in the business and administration side of sports. This track is enriched with specialized courses in management, marketing, law, finance, leadership, and globalization within the sports context while offering opportunities for field experience through practicum and internship.
