The BSCJ program is available at the Modesto A. Maidique Campus and FIU Online. The program provides students with an understanding of the three main components of the justice system: police, courts, and corrections. The study of criminal justice and criminology involves research methods and the application of criminological theories.

All students are required to complete the University Core Curriculum General Education Requirements to receive a degree from FIU. Proof of an Associate of Arts (AA) degree from a Florida college automatically satisfies this requirement.
