Large international companies and small local firms are now competing globally. Successful companies are those who can respond quickly and innovatively to customer requests and do so with high quality. In order to be successful in the long term, appropriate business processes are required. Adequate business processes are important prerequisites for meeting these requirements in the long term. To do this, however, data and information must be rethought in strategic and operational company management. This means that data-based decision-making processes largely replace intuition and "gut feeling" in everyday management and lead to measurable increases in productivity and profits through the adaptation of business processes.
