Introduction

Studying for the mobility of the future

Fascinated by the ever-increasing development of mobility and how we will get from A to B in the future? Then Automotive Computing is the right course for you! It deals with the latest technologies, trends and concepts that will shape the way we move: from automated driving to sustainable transport solutions to intelligent traffic control. The key to solutions such as intelligent assistance systems, autonomous driving or mobility-based services (such as Uber) is software. Other areas of application for the know-how imparted by this course include dashboard design of vehicles, the use of intelligent mobility in logistics, precision farming, real-time kinematics or support in disaster relief operations. This gives graduates the opportunity not only to shape the smart mobility of tomorrow but also to make a valuable contribution in terms of efficiency and environmental friendliness.

Wichtige Fakten

We train experts for precisely these very young specialist areas. The rapid development of the automotive industry already requires specialists who understand the interaction between IT and mobility, who work at this interface and can thus help shape our future in a sustainable way. Potential employers, from innovative start-ups to established large corporations,
can be found throughout Austria and internationally in a wide variety of areas, such as vehicle manufacturing and suppliers, system and solution suppliers, content and service providers, navigation service providers, automated transport solutions and software development.
