Introduction

The Bachelor's Degree in Management and Information Technology, aims to train competent professionals in various fields and career opportunities with employability.

Licensees in Management and Information Technology have skills in various economic and social areas, in particular in providing Accounting, Tax, Audit and Economic and Financial Analysis.

At the end of the course the student will be trained and qualified to professionally build appropriate solutions to problem solving organizations and society, with the use of new technologies and information systems, based on the knowledge acquired through sound training in computer science.

They should be enabled to perform a variety of functions at the level of IT, namely, analysis, evaluation, planning and management information systems as well, combining strong programming component for the development and programming applications.

In addition to these skills, students who complete the course in Management and Information shall, in addition to other powers, be able to: - Analyze, develop and implement information systems to support the management of companies; - Develop, implement and consolidate projects in organizations; - To develop, analyze and implement management control information systems; - Establishment of the budget of all the activities and functions of the organization; - Implement, monitor and evaluate the management cycle; - Organize work distribution plan, monitor the quality of implementation and observe deadlines in the preparation of planning; - Prepare monitoring reports, and control of the budget; - Interpret and prepare financial statements; - To plan, manage and execute software development projects; - To analyze, design and implement information systems for the various areas using modern methodologies; - Use programming languages, either structured or object-oriented.

  • Promote the use of CASE tools to increase the profitability of analysts and system designers; - Design, implement and manage corporate databases; - Perform consulting and advisory services in business management, accounting and taxation.
