Information technologies (IT) have a fundamental impact on modern society, which is why it is said with good reason that we live in the information age. The methods of exchange and transmission, as well as the amount of various information, are larger and more sophisticated today than ever before in history. IT is an integral part of life to such an extent that it is practically unthinkable for any segment of society to function without it. Computer networks, primarily the Internet, are blurring temporal and spatial boundaries and making the world function as a global village. Information technology uses computers and computer programs to convert, store, protect, process, securely send and receive information. IT includes the study, design, development, implementation, administration and management of computer information systems, software applications, hardware and computer networks.

FINTECH prepares students for a career as an information technology engineer, while gaining the necessary knowledge and developing awareness of the wide range of problems and obligations that arise in professional practice. FINTECH is intended for everyone who wants to acquire scientific and practical knowledge and skills in the field of information technology and to independently develop software products based on modern knowledge in computer science and informatics.

After completing the studies, the student is trained to apply modern knowledge in the field of computer science and informatics, which gives him the opportunity to engage and employ in the IT sector, as well as further education and training both in our country and abroad. In Serbia, IT is the most promising sector - there are almost no unemployed programmers.
