Bachelor of Engineering

The Engineering program, which developed for the College of Applied Sciences in Sohar by faculty of Engineering/Sultan Qaboos University, is based on international standards to facilitate national and international recognition through accreditation in the future. The Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) criteria are adopted. Our graduates are well-Educated, highly skilled, and socially and professionally responsible engineer’s who represent a diverse population. We utilize input from employers, alumni and an industry advisory board to keep our programs real-world and real time.

Our curricula stress the application of established engineer- ing and computer knowledge as well as the methods, processes, skills and materials used in applied technology. Our programs emphasize both theory and application of scientific and engineering methods, preparing students for immediate employment or continued graduate education.
