Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing

What can I do with a marketing degree?
Students who major in marketing will learn to become effective marketing professionals with skills in basic selling techniques; conducting market research; and recognizing the importance of marketing mix, market segmentation, and target marketing for a company. Graduates can find careers including advertising executives, research analysts, international marketers, promotions directors, market researchers, or media buyers.

I am a transfer student. How can I apply?
Transfer students are welcomed to Clayton State University to continue their studies. Transfer credits can be accepted from college work earned at regionally accredited colleges and universities, provided the courses are comparable to the Clayton State University curriculum. You must have earned a minimum of C or higher level for transfer credit to be accepted.
Academics
How many courses do I take for the bachelor’s program?
All Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degrees are 120-credit programs. Undergraduate students generally take about 45 individual courses (including general core courses) during the course of the degree program.
Where are the classes taught?
Classes are taught in the classroom on the main campus at Morrow, GA or online.
Am I required to complete an internship?
Internships are not required but are highly recommended.
Are there study abroad opportunities?
Students are able to study abroad for course credit as part of the curriculum. In the past, students have traveled to destinations including Jamaica, the Czech Republic, and India.
