Introduction
The Electrical Engineer applies his specific knowledge and methods in systems involving electrical energy. The area of expertise includes analysis, project execution and supervision of works related to all aspects of systems and equipment in the areas of electrical engineering, electronics, telecommunications and automation.
Newton Paiva's Electrical Engineering course trains enterprising engineers with leadership and problem-solving skills, ready to meet current demands. It also develops, in future professionals, the necessary skills to adapt to technological advances and to work in multidisciplinary teams, with ethical action, which considers social, economic, political and environmental impacts, directing their interventions towards improving the quality of life of people. With a teaching staff, composed of masters and doctors, with great experience in the labor market, the student has the opportunity to combine theoretical knowledge with practical experience, experiencing real situations of the professional's daily life.
Graduates in Electrical Engineering at Newton Paiva can obtain double certification, as in addition to the course subjects, students will be able to study Control and Automation Engineering subjects. In this way, they can be double certified, as bachelors in Electrical Engineering and in Control and Automation Engineering.
