Introduction
The training of Psychologists with a broad vision in the theoretical aspects of this discipline. This training is also characterized by the teaching of techniques and basic skills related to their future professional practice, where theory can be integrated with practice, and its emphasis on the ability to act in the world, within different practical scenarios.
Our students are expected to:
Have an ethical and humanistic attitude with adequate scientific, theoretical, and practical preparation.
Be capable of developing Psychology as a theoretical and applied science.
They have extensive general and specific training for the performance of functions in the individual, group, organizational and social spheres.
They are capable of planning, developing, and evaluating educational, work, and organizational programs, mental health, and other fields of social reality.
They are capable of carrying out diagnostic and assistance functions in the general professional plane and in the specialties of clinical, educational, labor, and organizational psychology and others that may be required in the future.
They are capable of developing tasks of psychosocial well-being and community mental health, with an emphasis on primary and secondary prevention.
Possess the basic methodological tools and develop the minimum skills to participate in research activities in the discipline.
