Católica Lisbon’s International Undergraduate Programs in Economics & Finance were the first of their kind in Portugal, offering a pioneering global education.

Merit Scholarships for Bachelor’s Degrees

The CATÓLICA-LISBON scholarship program recognizes the effort and commitment of the students on the Bachelor's Degree in Management and Economics course each year. Any student meeting the academic achievement requirements established each year may have access to this program.
How does it work?
The scholarships are granted each year to all the students that meet the above requirements in terms of averages and ECTS. Scholarships are granted automatically, there being no need to apply to the program, and annually, so any student who does not have a scholarship in one year will automatically get one the following year if their performance meets the requirements stipulated in the program.
Curriculum
Conclusion of the Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Finance requires students to obtain 180 ECTS, divided between:
- Compulsory Subjects and the Learn in Action Program;
- Elective Subjects and Exchange Program, International Tri-School Exchange or Double Degree (1 or 2 years).

Personalized Programs
After the common core first year, which allows students to learn more about the basics of management, along with useful concepts in the area of economics and finance, the students will have access to elective subjects in a study plan that can be customized according to the areas they are most interested in and the professional future they aspire to.
When building a personalized curricular plan, the elective subjects available for this bachelor's degree course are part of an exclusive management track, opening doors to the interdisciplinarity that is in the DNA of the Business School.

Learn in Action
Learn in Action is a development program for personal skills development which is included in the compulsory study plan and has been developed exclusively for our bachelor’s degree students.
The aim is to take practice a little further, with training devoted to the essential skills needed for the labor market and the opportunity to take part in different extracurricular activities, including internships, volunteering and even entrepreneurial projects that will generate richer resumés and more complete people.
This is why bachelor's degrees from CATÓLICA-LISBON guarantee employability rates very close to 100% within six months of completing the course.
