Introduction
As a World Languages and Cultures major, you'll learn to view yourself as global citizens while also realizing your vocational goals. We'll help you communicate competently, speaking, reading and writing in the target language, and appreciating cultural diversity.
The French and Spanish majors include a wide range of courses in language, literature, culture, civilization and linguistics. Double majors and minors are encouraged for those who want to make themselves more marketable in careers such as business, international trade, international relations, law, government and social work. You'll also be encouraged to study abroad.
